POSTFUN MOURNS A SCORCHED STORE IN DEBUT SINGLE "WHEN THE WIND SHIFTS"
POSTFUN, a new indie-pop project in Halifax, will be debuting their first single “When the Wind Shifts” on October 24th, 2020.
“I like telling stories”, says Jack Murtha, creator of POSTFUN. Murtha, who also plays in bands Social Smokers Club and norc, says this project is his idea of pop music mixed with his passion for story-telling and indie music.
“When the Wind Shifts” reflects Murtha’s experiences on the South Shore:
“We’d go into the Petite Riviere General Store ‘cause it was the [closest] place you could get liquor . . . there were these volunteer firefighters that always cracked stupid things at you when you’re walking in . . . the second verse of the song is about those guys.”
